I found a Hairy Centipede in my daughter’s sink in southern PA. I was going to wash it down the drain but then I remembered that they are a helpful insect… (are they really an insect?). Hairy Centipede’s eat silverfish and other household pests so I picked it up in a piece of paper towel and threw him outside where he crawled away to safety.
So I just saw a video about making Baklava and I came up with an idea for a new product.. Clarified butter in a spray can. It would be used by tons of home cooks and chefs especially for working with Phylo dough such Greek baklava and Indian cooking.
Has it already been invented?
I’m ashamed to say that I have a gift for someone’s baby shower that I never finished making. I started it before the baby was born in February and it’s still hanging on the wall in the kitchen in a zip lock bag to keep it clean. The baby is now 6 months old and her parents have yet to receive my gift! Aren’t I just awful? I tried selling my artwork over 20 years ago but it just didn’t sell well. I mostly made FRAKTUR Birth/Baptism certificates or documents. I even had a few orders for them plus a few Marriage certificates which I stopped making when the married couples kept ended up getting divorced! I’ve also created an assortment of other odds and ends to give away which clutter up my acid free museum quality storage box. .
Recently I have been considering making POSITVE WORDS in the Fraktur style and just framing them to give away as gifts.. what do you think? A good idea?
MONTOURSVILLE — If you haven’t figured it out yourself, someone’s probably told you before: don’t look directly into the sun. “If you don’t have suitable eye protection, you run the risk of ruining the retinas in your eye,” On August 21, millions of people across the country will be looking up to the sky during a…
I recently got hooked on a Japanese Soap opera filmed in Singapore and Australia called THE DREAM JOB English captioned and shown on Netflix. I haven’t watched a soap opera in years mind you, but I find myself watching at least 2 episodes a day. Sometimes you’ll see some bad acting.. but you must overlook that to see how they live in Japan, even after the Fukushima meltdown. The characters seem somewhat passionless in the bedroom scenes, due I suppose to their discreetness. The most I’ve seen was two people talking in bed with their bare shoulders and arms showing. No passionate kissing scenes either like we have here. Maybe, just maybe they have more restraint and class than we do? Maybe not, maybe they hide it well… LOL. Here’s the original uncaptioned peek view.
